hey skate. fam -

quick update on the Friends Invite issue.

we’re continuing to work on it, but please ENSURE your friends have signed up as a skate. Insider at https://skate.game/insider and then have them complete the skate. Insider Playtesting Signup survey.

we’ll get them sorted, but if they don’t sign up, we don’t know who they are.

also, let them know that if they want to play on console, they MUST use the EA account linked to the Gamertag or PSN ID.
(they can check account linkage via https://myaccount.ea.com - and if they need account help, they will need to contact EA Help by following this FAQ.)

UPDATE:

The survey link is now closed to compile all the submissions to get them into San Van starting tomorrow.

We'll have more invites to playtest as we head to Early Access, so tell your friends (if they don't get in this round) to stay on the lookout for an email.

(they can still sign up as a skate. Insider, but the other survey is closed for now)

FINAL UPDATE:

Greetings potential skate. Playtesters,

Now that the server maintenance has ended, the Play Now emails are going out, which will provide access to invited Playtesters. In that email there will be a link to the private Playtest forums (the only place to discuss the Playtest build, share feedback, report bugs or issues).

Once they have finished, that will be it for this current wave - but don't fret! This isn't the last invite, and certainly not the last wave of playtesters we're going to bring into San Vansterdam.

Please remember the Playtesting Confidentiality Agreement and do not discuss any details of the Playtest (including if you have access, contents of emails, or details of the build) outside of the official private Playtesting forums.

We know you're excited - we're excited.

Braddock512Thanks for the update! Already asking my friends to do so. One question though: Some of us didn't even have the chance to type our friends' emails before the form bugged out. I may be jumping the gun, but how will you recognize them vs any other person signing up as a skate. insider? I'm guessing we will need to fill out some form? Just making sure my situation is also being considered. Thanks again!

  Yep, wondering the same. I didn't even type my friends email before getting timed out. How will EA be able to get them, when they have no idea who they are?

  Hey there. We're still working to resolve this. You should get an email when you're good to go. I don't have a date, but we're trying to get this handled as soon as we can.

  This is what i did cause i was having trouble too. On your computer log into your account on either PS or Xbox and if you redeemed the code go to your game library and you download it to your console from there

i don’t understand why you guys would send me an email on the 4th of March that I’ve been invited, I answer everything on time do everything that’s required. I’m told I’ve been approved per the calendar indicator on the plat testing website and on the day of the playtest it gets removed when I made meticulous plans for this playtest. That’s just sad to be honest and quite unfair

  if you go to where it used to say approved, then click "view calendar" then click "month", it will still show it, same thing happened to me, but still no code for me either lol (PS5, UK)

Why have I not got my email after waiting now nearly 6 HOURS after the invites were meant to go out, I was told I was accepted into the playtest, I just want someone to bring up this issue because I know im not the only one whos not got the invite we was promsied
