I'm literally playing by myself and the "waiting for other players..." prompt keeps locking me in place on my screen when I skip the intro for challenges. Only fix is to close app and reopen but it will still happen on random challenges
ive been getting this recently as well
Was happening occasionally and today it's like 50% of the time or more. Bummed cause I wanna do these daily challenges.
Fix for me is to alt tab, then you have to wait until the length of the intro for the spot has passed then it should begin if not tab in and out of the game 1 or 2 more times after waiting 10 seconds or just not skip it for now until its fixed.
kinda works on xbox too have to wait like 10 seconds at the dashboard tho
I find that 1. if you skip the intro (i.e. hold Y/triangle or press A/X), and it does pop up, it will always start eventually if you just wait (sometimes like 20-30 seconds); 2. if you just don't skip the intro, it doesn't pop the "Waiting for other players..." up, but sometimes the objectives will disappear and you have to restart the game to fix it
The workaround for this is to wait a few seconds before skipping the pre-challenge dialogue.
If you spam skip the dialogue too quickly, the "waiting for players" bug kicks in for ~20 seconds.
