Truck Stiffness And Wheel Hardness Also Board Wear/Damage.

It would be very nice to have the option to tweak truck stiffness and wheel hardness like in Skate 3,

countless times now I'll be going down a ramp at high speeds, turn slightly and CRASH!.. right into a wall or easily go off course from my intended direction.

Wheel hardness would be great as well, I like hard wheels for longer powerslides and drifting into corners while bombing downhill. (Once a REAL downhill map is added  -_- )

Not really "important" but board wear and truck wear along with wheel wear would bring a more immersive feel and experience to the game and depending on your playstyle/skating style the board would wear differently person to person.

*Stickers should strip off a little and become weathered along with the board (Scrapes, chips and nicks, griptape gets dirty and wheels get dirty and worn in) Also BRING BACK sweaty skaters!

Seriously Skate Team, get on small things like this! Yah I get it your still working on how to make your game "fun" and bug "fixes" after months to a year, but like maybe instead of focusing solely on the shop and micro-transactions and these soulless pointless events (Currently X Games) that barely give you Tix's or some crappy limited currency.

Just Make Skate Great!

  • I definitely agree with you but they did say board wear and tear is coming.  wheel hardness would be a huge w for me because I love carving and power slides but often times I lose a ton of momentum (which makes sense) but having hard wheels to reduce that momentum loss would be awesome.

turning speed adjustment would be great too, by default your character turns on a dime way too quickly and unrealistically despite momentum so combined that with the lack of fluid movement of our characters the result is very jittery and unrealistic looking especially with those little micro adjustments.   being able to lower my turn speed would improve this

  • I agree that adding wheel hardness and truck looseness would be a great idea because it was introduced in previous skate titles, but if the wheels are altered they get buffs and nerfs like a balancing system. If they are hardened wheels, you move slower because of the materials to make it like that but can turn sharper. If they're loose then it's difficult to turn but wonderful for speeding up.

Board wear/tear damage would be good in terms of displaying how active a person is but it should be a toggle option and not forced. Although many probably would like the realism of it, if the player has that toggle off it won't show to other players. The alternative solution is making it a toggle for the opposing player to view the wear and tear of the board as a form of perspective. If toggled on their board will also have the effects throughout their session for that time, in 24 hours the board appearance resets.

If there's a balancing system I would completely agree with this idea otherwise it's a pointless system to implement.
