If you "fail to see" how unlocking multiplayer boosts offline - that you will later use against other players - is unfair, then I don't know how else I could rephrase it. But alright... Consider this: there was this whole uproar about the game being pay to win - that is, you unlock everything by paying, then use this stuff to destroy everyone online. Now, making everything unlockable in an offline mode would essentially mean the same, I'd complete every single challenge in a week by destroying some thousand useless bots, buff my favourite class to epic level with a fully upgraded weapon, and destroy you in multiplayer all the same.
But I am really tired of typing this again and again. Your complaint that singleplayer content should have been added to the game is totally valid. But merging challenges and unlockables is just simply a bad idea. Of course you should have access to everything offline, but keep that stuff there.

I never said that you will destroy anyone, I said that you will be destroyed all the same, and you'll find it even more unfair. Right now I mostly have rare-tier cards, with some epic ones here and there, but if I could gain the same amount of credits in even less time offline, I'd run around 100% epic with all of my troopers.
I'm sorry that you are not good at the game, but multiplayer is about skill, it always have been.
Here's an analogy for you: if you get your arse handed to you in some martial arts competition, or while playing chess, or... well bloody well anything, will you start complaining that it is not fair, the opponent was more skilled? Ugh...
This whole conversation just feels like a stalemate though, so you won't have to bother with my face again, I'm out. I don't even understand why the online-offline challenge merging is so important to you, since - if I understand correctly - you'd play offline anyway, if Dice gave you the chance.

I have all Purple Tier on my Officer, and that is the ONLY class I can earn 10,000+ points or get on the end roster in a game with. I can't do that on any other classes, even with Purple Tier unlocked on them, and NEVER with Hero or Villain...even with Purple Tier unlocked. I set on the Specialist and only get a few kills per game spending most my time dying. I have wasted DAYS and HOURS on the Specialist in order to unlock it's final weapon. It took me weeks to get 200 kills to unlock the final gun, yes that long. So, what you are saying is, had I been able to unlock that stuff offline against bots in much less time, it would somehow effect the entire game? No, it wouldn't. I am not going to do that well no matter how much I unlock on all but the Officer. Period. I certainly am not going to do well AT ALL in the Starfighter modes, I just die continually there.
Martial Arts and a form of entertainment (a video game) are VERY different things. Martial Arts is about discipline and learning. A Video Game is about relaxing, escaping, and fun. You cannot equate the two. I CAN complain about a video game, martial arts is not something you complain about because you want to learn and get better because it is about YOU and your life, not a freakin' video game.
I would play offline if the entire multiplayer experience was there, and it is not. But, if I was still not earning things or unlocking things I wouldn't want to do it much then.As it is now, with the new update, it added nothing for me. No offline against bots multiplayer, so pointless. The new Jetpack mode is just more competitive garbage. Right now I am done with the game because I frankly do not have fun with it much at all. All I have unlocked and earned was just one long frustrating, cheap, unfair, glitched fiasco spent with half the time dying and waiting for the counter to respawn me. I was literally frustrated within one match every time I liked in this game. Every single time. I tried, but unless I can play and earn things against bots, I will not get any real enjoyment out of this game.
