The game won't last for a full match of any mode without crashing. The screen goes black at a random time during the match and then brings me back to Origin with no error message what so ever. It will also crash on the collections menu. I have reinstalled the game, changed settings, updated drivers - nothing has fixed the issue. Every other game I have runs perfectly.
I do not know if you tried these steps : to switching from DirectX 12 back to DirectX 11 and see if that works. Also see if switching from Borderless to Fullscreen maybe will fix this.
Delete temp files: open the Start Menu and type%temp% in the Search field or click in the Run option in the Start Menu and type%temp%in the Run field.Press Enter and a Temp folder should open. You can delete all files found in this folder, and if any files are in use, they can be skipped.
It was already on Fullscreen, I did all of the steps you've suggested. Nothing is interfering with it in the background, the game is still crashing to desktop in the same spots. This is ridiculous.
Make sure your Firewall or Anti Virus is not blocking the Origin make the Origin folder an exception if your firewall/ Anti Virus. Restart Origin and repair the game. Manually add antivirus/firewall exclusions/exceptions for specific files/folders Origin/game ,or/and file extensions origin.ex/game.ex from scanning.(very important to do )
Edit : go in Origin / My Game Library -right click on game icon ,select Game properties -> here uncheck Enable Origin In Game for StarWarsBattlefront 2
if your issue persists after you show DXDiag here on forum, we'll see what to do.
This is killing me! Just bought the game and have not been able to start and play to the conclusion even one round!
That is this *? I expect this from a $20 beta.
I've tried all of these fixes and the game is unplayable, and it's been crashing my computer HARD-sometimes. It doesn't even break the same way each time.
windows 10 1080ti 16gb ram
it will crash at any time between trying to open it and already playing
I got a solution, vvery similar to yours, but it saves you having to wear headphones.
I plugged a set of phono headphones directly into the MICROPHONE socket on the front of my PC. They just hang there, don't interfere with my sound, and I don't need to wear the phones.
Similarly to yours, if I unplug them mid-game, it crashes.
Thanks!

3.Make sure you don't have any MSI Gaming App or Riva Tuner installed in your machine. If you have this in your computer, you must uninstall them.
4.After you finish doing the above steps, restart your machine.
