Battlefront 2 no XP or Milestone tracking (except Arcade and Campaign)

New to Battlefront 2, but I recently realized that I am gaining no Unit XP, and I am not getting any tracking for Timed Challenges or any other unit based milestones. That said, I am seeing tracking in the Arcade milestones. I purchased through Steam, but have an EA account that was connected for gameplay.

    There are many asking about not gaining XP for a certain class at certain times. The only productive response is that this is "a bug". 

    I have 0 XP on all classes after 17 hours of play, and there is no Timed Challenge tracking active (e.g. Play any mode for 10 minutes NEVER moves)

    This is a bug. I would like a solution, since I have now enjoyed the game for 17 hours but have nothing to show but mission progress and credits.

    Any thoughts?
