i'm having this horrible issue with battlefront 2 that it isn't working i load up the game as usual and i load in but when i see the home screen i see a blue spinning cursor and at times i cannot move it around the screen can someone help

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far? I assume you're playing on PC, right?
If yes, I suggest checking out the repair option in Origin for starters 🙂

Thank you, the discord overlay was my issue.

Not sure if you solved the issue, but it is the Discord Overlay. If you were in-game as you disabled Discord overlay, you do need to restart your game. If it still doesn't work, check to see if there is any other program (like Team Speak's Overwolf) overlapping the game, and try disabling it.
@m4TEO1234567890 Presiona el ícono de configuración junto a tu nombre en discordia, luego ve a superposición, luego presiona habilitar superposición en el juego. Eso debería apagarlo
