Battlefront 2 stuck on launch screen

Whenever I try to launch the game, it gets stuck on this screen, and doesn't do anything. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling amd it still didn't help.

    @DavidRudabaga Could you clear your Online and local saves for SWBF2 and then try to start the game up, that should work. 🙂

I solved this issue by turning my graphics options down.  Having HFTS shadows on was the real culprit. Once i was able to load to the menu screen i turned all the graphics options to ultra and made sure to keep shadow settings off of HFTS.  Ive posted this fix on a few other threads, but the word doesnt seem to get out.  Hope this helps.
