Battlefront II Freezing and Crashing to Xbox Dashboard after Most Recent Update

    Like I mentioned before, our team is currently investigating the problem.

    We would be very grateful if you could answer the questions below. It would be a huge help for our specialists.

    • Can it be fixed by reinstalling the game?
    • Did anything strange happen during the update flow?
    • Did the game crash (the Star Destroyer Initial Map)?
    • Did you play any other games during the update?
    • Is there anything suspended and running at the same time on your console during the crash?
    • Have you noticed any pattern that might trigger the error?

True! My other games work perfectly. Is a problem with the recent update.

    I've been having this problem as well, since the last update, I had no problems during the update, I did play another game while I was waiting for the update to finish, but now when I launch the game is just loads and jumps me back to the dash board. Plz help

      @UrMomBLoWSm3- Look at @Major-Band1t posts and follow his recommendations. If this fails go to game management and delete your save game files from everywhere. You will not lose any of your ranking, milestones etc. as this is kept on the EA servers but you will have to re-allocate your ability cards & weapon upgrades to each of your troopers, hero's and starfighters. If all this fails try a complete reinstall + patches as suggested by EA_Ataashi.

        @EA_Ataashi - (Platform Xbox one) Problems kept popping up so I decided finally to reinstall the game. I had the digital download version and had to re-download the 65 Gb again. Fortunately, it had all the updates already installed so I didn't have re-do them. Since the re-install 3 days ago and plenty of play time, I have had no further issues to date.

    Reinstalled, hard reset Xbox & router, unplugged Xbox & router, went online & forced sign in, deleted game save, all did nothing. This has only happened last few days, was after every game but today had a couple before it started again & now does it after every game. This update needs taking off though it’s been fine till 3/4 days ago

    If you're aware of the issue, then * fix it. It is September and I'm still encountering issues where I can't even start the damn game anymore. I'm about ready to do some really regrettable *; give me my * money back or I'll take it back. You have absolutely no right to make us pay for a game that you barely even update, and when you DO update it, it's only to "fix" bugs and end up replacing them worth more bugs! Your company is pathetic, but you already know that. Fix. Your. Damn. Game. 

    If my game doesn't work or I don't see 60 dollars in my bank account within two days, I'm filing a class-action lawsuit.

    This just began happening to us today. Crashes and shuts down XBox console completely.

        I'm having this same issue. Today I've lost a legendary crate, daily crate and 60,000 credits. Goes to open it and xbox one x fan kicks in and turns off the xbox. Has the latest update.

        Any fix for this?

    This crash hasn’t been fix and I hate it when it freezes and goes back to the home screen

    - I reinstalled and it did not fix the game
    Did anything strange happen during the update flow?
    - Now my avatar freezes when I start the game or random times while I am playing

    - yes

    Is there anything suspended and running at the same time on your console during the crash?
    - no
    Have you noticed any pattern that might trigger the error?
    - no I have not, but now my xbox one is randomly shutting off. this only happens when I play battlefront.
