Battlefront III thread

As much as I'd like to see a giant leap for the franchise, I think it would be best to have a more subtle progression for the sequel.  One that would allow them to reuse and build on things from this game that fans really enjoyed.  I'd like to see:

• 64 player matches minimum
• Feature mode would be something like Titan Mode from Battlefield 2142:  Battlefield 2142 Titan Tutorial - YouTube
• Maps would be designed for this large mode first, with ability to use cutouts for GA, Blast, Extraction, Co-op, etc.
• The game would be muliti-era with even content per era at launch.  That way DLC can just be in a natural rotation.
• I think 3 eras is fine since New Republic era hasn't got the locations yet to stand on its own.  Age of Rebellion should include all content where the Empire is involved.  Maybe for Battlefront 4 they have enough content to look at adding more eras and splitting content off.
• Keep hero design such that all current heroes could be brought into Battlefront 3 at launch, adding new heroes to the current roster.

Bringing in all heroes from this game and adding to them at launch would give a massive roster that would please really any fan.  Then they could add to it at will post launch:

• Light side heroes - Obi-Wan, Yoda, Anakin, Han, Luke, Leia, Lando, Chewy, Rey, Finn, BB-8, Ahsoka, Bo Katan, Padme, Mace Windu, Captain Rex, Din Djarin, Ezra Bridger, Poe Dameron, Ben Solo, Cassian Andor, Cara Dune
• Dark side heroes - Grievous, Maul, Dooku, Boba Fett, Vader, Palpatine, Iden Versio, Bossk, Kylo Ren, Phasma, BB-9E, Ventress, Gar Saxon, Aurra Sing, Jango Fett, Cad Bane, Moff Gideon, Grand Admiral Thrawn, General Hux, Knight of Ren, villain from Andor series, villain from Rangers of New Republic series.

2. I want a system where heroes have different stats for each game mode. That way they can be enjoyable in ALL modes. The big problem with this game is that someone would complain about something, so they'd buff/nerf it. Then they'd complain that that change ruined something else and so on and so forth.
a way where heroes were specially balanced in hero modes  compared to trooper modes and vice-versa would be the biggest thing for me.

While I'm at it why not some more

3. Customizable heroes/reinforcements(not just trait cards) I always wanted the ability to play as both the e11-d and the dlt 19d sniper death troopers, Same with the sniper droidekas from the clone wars. We should get to better customize reinforcements with guns and actual weapon cards. Same with heroes, why shouldn't i get to choose between lightning or light saber palpatine, A combination of both? (If ventress ever comes to the game i want to be able to play with either both lightsabers, or her single yellow one. same with maul. why not have a duel wield single red+dark saber combo not skins of course but ACTUALL weapons that change the play style.)

4. Better trooper customization, think ufc 3 type stuff (hair, skin, and a fully customizable head shape, also species) instead of predetermined head defaults.


5. Different Faction= Different stuff. I understand that "balance" is important but a lot of the time that takes away a lot of cool features. Im thinking different teams should have different guns (era locked) that are actually different, not just cheap reskins. Same with just features in general. maybe droids are a little slower than clones, maybe storm troopers have better armor then rebels, stuff like that. Same with cards, Different team= different gear.

6. just for fun, better named stuff. example" ec-17 instead of "flash pistol" i mean come on.

7. Speeders that aren't crap. this goes along with 8. people who don't complain and therefore cause everything to be nerfed into crap.

I should clarify a few things about my Titan mode suggestion.  Supremacy is loosely based on Titan mode, but Titan mode has several major upgrades from Supremacy:

• There are no phases.  The Capital ship and ground war are happening at the same time.
• Defenders can spawn on the Titan/Capital ship and even use canons to fire at ground forces.
• The Titans could be moved across the map...maps in Titan mode were HUGE.
• The Titans were highly defendable by design.  If you watch Battlefield 2142 Titan Tutorial - YouTube again, you will notice a lot of narrow hallways and cover for defenders.
• This created a balancing act for the mode...your team has to decide when its worth going after the Titan/Capital ship directly, possibly at the cost of losing missile silos on the ground.
• Alternatively, if your team focuses on the ground too heavily, then the enemy might board your Titan and successfully get to the reactor core.

So in many ways, Titan mode is a massive step up in gameplay from Supremacy.  And the good part is, no one has done anything like this since.  It would be a unique mode for Battlefront 3.  The closest thing has been Carrier Assault in Battlefield 4, but the carriers were basically not defendable at all.  Usually first team to get into a carrier won.  Not so in Titan mode by a long shot.

Large trooper game with heaps of different modes 

Plus a smaller game for Hero player and different modes

The problem is that heaps of Heros on the Battlefield just ruins trooper play

I forgot to add that choosing sides before a match starts and private matches should be included for the next game.

More reinforcements(Magnaguards, Red Guard,etc.), split screen for PC, scoreboard and voice chat turn on/off feature should be included!
