I've noticed this since I got a new motherboard, memory and CPU a few weeks ago - same graphics card as I've had for years. So, I have to imagine it has something to do with my rig/drivers, although all drivers (that I can think of) are up to date.
I've noticed it in Co-op and HVV. (haven't really been playing other modes)
When I say it happens often, this means it happens about twice (several seconds apart) in almost every match.
I've tried numerous changes:
- various refresh rates - 60-144 Hz
- overclock video card, don't overclock card
- various resolutions - 1920x1080, 2560x1440
- HDR on and off
- rolled back NVIDIA driver to prior release
In-game graphics automatically set to ultra - card definitely had no problem with this in the past
DX12 is off.
Video sync is off.
full-screen
Microsoft in-game is off.
Origin in-game is on.
CPU is not overclocked.
Max CPU temp: 71 C - well within range
Max GPU temp: 83 C - well within range
DXDIAG attached.
LG 27GL83A-B Monitor is set at 144Hz and G-sync is on.
Any ideas?
A while back I traced this issue to having HDR turned on. If I turned off HDR, the game performed fine.
Somewhere along the way this got fixed. Could have been a Windows update or a game update - don't know. Nonetheless, I don't have the issue anymore, so closing this one out.
