Can we now get access to The Last Jedi Pre-order Content (skins)?

I understand the Last Jedi skins for Rey and Kylo Ren are 'exclusive bonuses' but I figure since the game has been out for 3 years that maybe they can make these skins accessible to everyone now, in some fashion--maybe something like '2500 kills with Rey' or '2500 kills with Kylo Ren' or another 'find the secret of ____ map'??

There are ebay accounts where you can purchase the pre-order codes to get these skins; however, they are Xbox/PS4 only, and the sellers no longer have codes for PC (I know because I asked them, lol).

What do other people think about this?

  • They’ve mentioned it before, it is an actual legal issue. They were marketed as exclusive so they cannot release them under other circumstances.

  • @AkiraSpectrumMaybe try the Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition? It has both skins included.

Note that it has to be the Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition, the Celebration Edition doesn't unlock them.

  • @TRlALON Thanks for the advice. I can still only find that edition on PS4/XboxOne, no PC version. Plus, I don't want to re-pay for the whole game when I already have the Celebration Edition.

    Thanks though.

@AkiraSpectrumWtf you're right. It seems like they completely removed the deluxe edition from the store for PC. I just looked up some reagistration key sites for the DLC code, but they're all either for PSN or Microsoft store :/

If you don't find a key seller, there'll be unfortunately no way for you to obtain these two skins anymore.

Damn, even on ebay are so many codes for PS/XBOX, but none at all for PC.

  • The only thing is how come other games do it? they say there will be exclusive pre order dlc & then next thing you know the game gets released & all the pre order DLC is made buyable at some point. So if other companies do it why can't dice?

Other companies should face legal issues for making exclusive pre order dlc buyable then with that said but you don't see people complaining or suing other game companies for it.

If other companies don't play by the rules then 100% confused on why they can't for something like this.

@exiledroseIt's most likely like this because very specific legal buttfuckery is required to determine which content can be released afterwards or not.

I know what you mean, like for Battlefield 3 (made by DICE) were a lot of pre-order dogtags that could be purchased later on as DLC.

However, this wasn't possible for all of them. Some dogtags are still not to be obtained as DLCs. Like event or hardware specific ones.

Also other pre-order stuff like certain dogtags as well as some special soldier camo.
