@UrWeakAndAFoolIt's funny how he's only really useful in HvH and really close quarter maps just like in BF2015 but worse.
He can't even instakill soldiers with the single shot anymore, you always need at least one direct hit and some second splash hit to kill any normal soldier.
I played him a few times on CS dreadnought attack/defense, but it's a lost cause. Even if you have perfect aim, you can't kill people fast enough to make up for the damage they deal to you in the meantime.
By the time you might reach some reasonable permanent dmg resistance percentage with that starcard, you'll be already stuck in a loop of trying to get out of your minimal hp pool regeneration cap, so you can't really fight to reach exactly this goal anymore. It's just not getting any better at this point, might as well just suicide and respawn as soldier.
So to play Chewie effectively, you basically need to wait until his middle ability refreshes, which takes very long and is just unfunny and boring as well.
Worse, even bringing the patience for that usually won't save you.
I wonder what the devs were even thinking by balancing him this way, his weapon should deal straight 150 dmg and have a slightly higher fire rate when using the single shot. Maybe instead replace the middle ability with the dmg resistance ability from BF2015 for balance.
Or that his middle ability won't increase his firerate much anymore and only give him extra bolts.
The BF2015 Chewie was just better in all aspects, the only thing he lacked was the ability to channel his firepower into one bolt like in this game.
