Frames Per Second Issue
I discovered this strange thing today... when I set my graphics settings to ultra high and my refresh rate to 144hz (same as my monitor), and V-Sync is turned on, I get a max of 60 fps. But when I set my refresh rate to 120hz, I get the full 120 fps even with V-Sync on and graphics settings ultra high. I don't know what the deal is? I know for certain that my PC can reach 144 (it will with V-Sync turned off but it gets a bit choppy at times). I just want to be able to play at 144 fps, ultra high graphics, with v-sync on to ensure a smooth experience. Can anyone help with this? Here are the specs for my PC, if necessary:
Intel Core i7-9700KF @ 3.6GHz
32 GB Ram
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060
@EA_Atic I just checked... I guess I was wrong. I started a match on the most graphically demanding map I could think of (Felucia) and I averaged about 100 fps, regardless of whether or not V-Sync was on. I opened up my task manager and my CPU and GPU were both at 90%, so I guess that's just about it. My PC isn't quite as strong as I thought, but 100 - 120 fps is still fantasic.
