Hero Showdown Duplication

What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug Character duplication on hero showdown. This bug is known for a quite significant amout of time and it still works. Players on the south america servers started to use it very often ruining the game for a lot of people. How can you play against 3 Bossks on a closed match like Jabba's Palace? or 3 Vaders that can force choke you to death very quickly?

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 07-20-2020
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 04:35
In what game mode did the bug occur? Heroes vs. Villains
What is your time zone? AGT (BET) - GMT - 3:00
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1 - Select a character you want to duplicate 2 - Click on respawn 3 - When it reaches 00 quickly select another character 4 - If the your emotes become of the character you selected the duplication worked 5 - Tell your friend to pick you character https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyKnGZ8sy5E
What happens when the bug occurs? The player's character is duplicated.
What do you expect to see? A quick fix.

This is being exploited very much and it's really impossible to play against a team with 4 Palpatines, 4 Vaders and stuff like that. This game was supposed to be fun and it's really not when you get your * kicked by 3 Bobas and his rocket launcher.

    That's really frustrating really, I can't imagine the shame I would feel if I was a development team member and left a huge bug like this in the codebase.

    Even more embarrassing they don't know how to fix it. Triple A developers remember 😉

    There's only one issue here: Hero Showdown doesn't have a respawn timer, nor more then 2 players per side. Which means you're reporting the Heroes Vs Villains Hero Duplication glitch, which is Yet Again Another Day 1 BUG Never Solved. I was curious about Hero Showdown, because the only instance I saw Hero Duplication there was through hacking the game.

    If you search around here you'll find tons of similar reports.

    BTW, the method you suggest had been patched in the past, in the Squad System update. But you're not the first to report the method works again. People found another method during that patch which had been the only working method (AFAIK) since they had patched the 0 respawn timer one.

    Well, I guess glitches never truly die in this game.

    Yes you're right it was Heroes vs Villains. The truth reality: will dice ever fix any of the bugs described here? since the development team is focusing on battlefield I find it very unlikely. 
    Duplication, Vader Glitch, Finn Glitch there's a lot of fixes that needs to be done. It's really frustrating when you lose a close match on hvv because some * decided to exploit one of this glitchs.
