I would love to see after a match finishes the option to vote between 2 maps or a random map

Agreed! A voting system for the rotations of all smaller game modes would be nice!
As for the larger modes, I would still like to be able to join a certain map from the menu, so either through a server browser or a similar system as BF2015 had (lets you choose the map).
