Timeline of group/party playing problems last night:
I joined the group around 10:40 pm PST, after having some difficulty getting into games earlier in Starfighter assault (long waits in empty or nearly empty lobbies).
Almost immediately, after someone started a search for a new game of Hero Starfighters, one player was booted from our group (not our PS4 party, just the BF2 multiplayer group). This elicited a response of "not again!" from other players, who had experienced this booting a number of times that evening. Matchmaking found us an empty lobby, and our booted friend was able to rejoin us.
It took almost 5 min for matchmaking to populate the game. It was a frustrating game, because every time someone leaves the game, which happened a few times, it took a ridiculously long time to match a new player into that space. So after a while we switched to SA.
At 11:08 pm PST, we started a search for SA. It searched for a long time, then told us a message that there were "no available games". We tried again, and got into a game in progress almost immediately, so who knows why we got the "no available games" message.
It's horrible. I keep ending up in bad matches or empty lobbies. And if I'm in a good game, the next map it's all blown up and ruined and I either sit in an empty lobby, play a very unbalanced team, or glitch out to the menu.
Please turn this off!
