My star wars battlefront 2 will not launch on pc and origin will refresh

    Ive now fixed my game by typing into windows search "environment variables" and opening the first choice. i then clicked environment variables and deleted the entry GAME_DATA_DIR. i then restarted my pc and battlefront worked

So this is strange and so basic it's dumb. I fixed my no launch issue by making a shortcut on my desktop. I have no clue why, but it finally launched and can be played. Worth a shot if you haven't tried it.
