newly bought battlefront 2 refuses to launch steam/origin

as mentioned in the title my battlefront two will not launch from origin it loads up on steam fine but then it tries to load it via Origin and either says "playing" for a few seconds then nothing or just nothing happens at all i have not been able to launch the game once since purchase and i do not have any of the star wars battlefront two document folders also because of this.

i have tried many forums and all of them don't work in my case ,this is like a super bacteria of battlefront 2 where nothing else is working and its resistant to all methods of fixing it 

i have contacted live support and was directed here to make a post and just hope that someone high up in development sees this 

any help would be highly appreciated as i played this game on ps4 and loved it and i would hate to never be able to play this game again (as my ps4 is now broke)

    i very happily can inform you guys i found 2 fixes randomly on reddit with a guy complaining about how his BFV did not work 

    FIX-1

    you can create a new windows profile and make it as administrator, guide below

    FIX-2

    "Ok so from the guide I followed from a post that fixed my issue: Step 1, is to type environment variables in the windows search bar at the bottom left of your desktop. Step 2, is to click on GAME_DATA_DIR. Step 3, is to click on the top delete button and click OK. Step 4, is to restart your computer." 

    apparently due to origin and frosty mod manager being both great launchers it some how * it up so that's how you fix it

    i hope one of these two fixed it for you guys and i hope to see you in game share this to anyone who is having the same problem as this is the only fix i have found in thousands of forums

    Hey, @TrollmanRUN  can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with SWBF2 and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.

     

    Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

    @EA_Atic i tried to contact support again and no fixes were found for all of the normal fixes i have tried nearly all of them at this point so any help would be highly apricated

    @EA_Atic i will probably forget a few things but 

    basics 

    restarted pc 

    verify files 

    ran as admin (on both steam and origin)

    deleted origin and reinstalled it (the easy and hard way)

    deleted temp files 

    clean boot 

    reinstalled on multiple different drives 

    reinstalled as admin 

    reinstalled on clean boot 

    removed anti virus/turned off anti virus 

    turned of firewall 

    tried to install settings folder into documents forcefully

    installed the new DX and c++ updates 

    downloaded driver booster 8 (installed new drivers)

    downloaded CCleaner and ran 

    turned of full screen for battlefront 

    disabled DPI scaling 

    disabled optimization 

    ticked "always run as administrator

    asked steam and origin support 

    deleted EXE files and verified them again 

    tried to spam open the game to forcefully open it via task manager  (youtube said so)

    disabled cloud storage 

    refunded the game then rebought the game 

    disabled in game overlay in origin and steam and everything else 

    checked for updates 

    checked for windows updates 

    cleared origin cache 

    cleared bin 

    in nvidia control settings put prefer power to high 

    and a thousand other things i cant remember

    do you think its worth just refunding at this point because i cant find a fix no matter what i do.Maybe if i get a new PC at somepoint it will fix and i can play it but for the time being it seems every single thing i have seen does not seem to work

    I am having the same problem. I have tried everything. I am not sure if it is an Origin issue or an STBF2 issue.

    yea i read some more and a lot of people have similar issues and dont get help and have to fix it themselves so i will message you if i find a fix but for the time being it does not seem like any of us can play the game

    @EA_Atic were you able to find any issues with Dxlog and have you found a fix to this issue? Any help would be highly appreciated
