I've been having the same issue as a number of people. At first I was just going to let it run its course but after reading some of the replies here it seems it's not as easy as just fixing everyone's levels and I don't want to be left out of a fix because I didn't attempt to take action myself.
My gamer tag is Skandaalicious on Xbox One
Everything in my collection was reset, all heroes to 37, all infantry to 69, etc. I don't remember the exact level for each class, but everything was reset including vehicles. All I really remember is I had a max Darth Maul, Vader and palpatine were in the mid-500s, kylo was almost 500, grievous and dooku were in the 300s. On the lightside Luke, anakin, and Han mid 300s, Obi-wan 490s, the rest I don't use that often but still made it to around 100 for every hero/villain. Infantry classes: Max officer, mid 700s assault, mid-300s heavy, and mid-200s specialist.
At the end of the day it's really just a meaningless level and it does nothing to increase or reduce my skill, but I really enjoy this game and it was extremely disheartening logging in and seeing everything reset after all the time I put into this game.
I'm hoping it will be able to be fixed soon. I appreciate the fact that your team is aware and are actively working on a solution. Thanks and happy holidays!
