Proposal: Star Wars Battlefront II (2017) Remaster for PS5 & Xbox Series X|S

Hello EA Team,

I wanted to share an idea that many Star Wars and Battlefront fans strongly believe would be a major success.

Instead of jumping straight into a high risk Battlefront 3, I believe a native remaster of Star Wars Battlefront II (2017) for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S would be a smart and profitable move.

Battlefront II was left in a great state after years of updates, and many players still say it was abandoned right when it became truly great. A remaster that keeps the core gameplay untouched while upgrading the experience for current gen consoles would be extremely well received.

What fans are asking for is simple:

- Native PS5 / Xbox Series X|S versions

- 4K resolution with higher frame rates (60–120 FPS)

- Improved lighting, textures, and load times

- Small additions only (minor map enhancements, a few skins, quality of life improvements)

- No changes to core gameplay systems

A remaster like this would:

- Reignite the Battlefront community

- Restore goodwill after the game’s early launch issues

- Generate strong sales with relatively low development risk

- Hold fans over for several years while a proper Battlefront 3 is planned

Many players want Battlefront 3, but a Battlefront II remaster would be a safer, smarter bridge and one the community is ready to support immediately.
