DICE TeamStraight up PS4 install. I’ve reinstalled several times, gone to safe mode, unplugged the unit, deleted almost everything to create room, etc etc. Game updated to most recent patch no problem....but start it up and it’s stuck in the initial arcade mini game at 26%. I’m guessing some key sector on the disc was damaged, don’t think I’ll ever buy a disc again after this.
Possible breakthrough! I completely disconnected from the net while installing, launched “installed” game while still disconnected, and now “installation progress” percentage is progressing! I assumed the disc was loaded once it was loaded and that the progress once at arcade game was from the net...apparently not. Bizarre.
Alas, no breakthrough.
I have surmised that even though I initially loaded the disc, it’s not actually done with the disc, and my disc is damaged at the 26% mark of the secret/additional disc load of the arcade screen. Freak show
