Re: Duplicates Still DONT give back CREDITS!!!

OK, so I did what someone else said (sorry can't remember who!)

Only they did it on Xbox - I'm on PS4.

I made my (PS+ paying) account the 'primary one'

Found in [Settings] > [PlayStation Network/Account Management] > [Activate as Your Primary PS4].

Then I went an created a new account (needed another email - but I had a spare/left over one).

Played the game on the new account. So far no problems with duplicate credits (yes, I already got some!)

Of course the pain is that you have to start all over again from scratch.

Which sucks as with my other account I have all the characters etc unlocked, as well as guns + mods.

Not to mention the star cards and the time spent playing.

But, it seems the only way to get round this bug at the moment.

So it can, kinda (and that's a big kinda) be fixed.

And with no real help from EA - and none coming (I doubt they'll ever fix this) - sadly seems to be the only real way to do so (if your really desperate!)

Now February 21st 2018, the third day of Patch 1.2 by EA and I observed two significant attributes: more credits for duplicates and... no credits received for duplicates.

I am still stuck in the mid-thirty's for rank in this absurd progression system. Despite the fact that EA decided to increase the credits for the duplicate cards, 

EA communicates and pretends having fix the duplicate cards issue, three times via two different official representatives. I am more angry and frustrated than ever. I considered that the EA community is perhaps investigating this anomaly even further. That the developing team not only fabricated Patch 1.2 would mend this issue, moreso that several leaders have seem to take vacation days, or just plain ignoring this continuing problem and others from the hundreds of members reporting them.

I am sure everyone here has also observed the fact that the "OFFFICIAL" STAR WARS™ BATTLEFRONT™ FORUMS Bugs and Technical Issues are immediately redirected to here EA Answers HQ? Now why is that? Public Image perhaps?

There is a server update februari 22nd.

Fingers crossed that this helps.  No official communication as to what exactly the server update is, so it could just be routine maintenance.  We'll find out tomorrow I guess.
