in gallactic assault for example the screen is full of icons. sometimes 3 big objective icons, icons on the walkers, icons above teammates + names. so i can't really enjoy the amazing graphics because of all these icons. and often you can't see enemies because they are "behind" the icons. when you have to escort an at-at there is a big blue icon on it with "defend", so from a distance the at-at is half covered by a ugly blue icon, i want to see the walker and not an icon. i know i have to defend it.
perfect would be an toggle button. press it then you see the objective icons and you know where to go (and after you played a map a few times you know where to go even without icons), then toggle off to enjoy graphics and see enemies. if you can turn off hud it's technically possible, so why not give as some more options to customize the hud?
