Republic Cruiser - Heroes vs Villains - Kill Box Not Working

On the Republic Cruiser HvV map, the kill box at the bottom of the map does not always work. If the player is ragdolled down the north-eastern shaft in the center of the map, they will fall all the way to the bottom without dying.
