@this_old_mouseYou're joking, right? Every other multiplayer game has something similar to what I've said. And I said UNIQUE ACCOUNT reports, if it reaches a number of reports from different players in a day/hour/etc. fast > BAN.
We should not let the problems of the few affect the many, my mouse friend.
Everything has a solution that comes back to numbers, can be easily coded. And if something bad happens, their case can be reviewed, as in other Shooter games, ez.
But again the problem resumes to being so complicated to actually report a.t.m..I suggest you watch some streamers play this game on twitch, for example a streamer named whaddaweirdo, who is legit player, not cheater, gets accused of hacking in the game chat multiple times per lobby, and in total has logged over 1,500 total hackusations in this game alone. Could you imagine what it would be like if this toxic and pathetic community got hold of a votekick option? I agree that it would definitely be effective at removing blatant cheaters, it would remove far more legit players who pissed off a clan of toxic clowns. People in this game tend to call hacks on basically anything that kills them in a suspicious way, not realizing how this game's mechanics and ttk work. So if you arm each of these players with the ability to kick people, it would not go well at all.
I reported a cheater many times with video proof. But he has no ban. He destroyed servers since months. Ea doesn't care who cheats.

The following sent 16th April 2020
I keep raising concerns about the increase levels of cheating/hacking within Star Wars battlefront 2 on "battlefront-forums.ea.com".
All post about cheating keep getting taken down and today I noticed other people are having there post about the same issue removed.
The problem in the game now is completely out of control and I have the following concerns which I have sent to EA_Tom.
I have the following concerns/questions:
1) The damage being done to the reputation Star Wars Battlefront 2, DICE, EA and Disney.
2) Why when people have but so much time and effort into creating the game, then this issue not taken more seriously?
3) Are the moderators correct in closing cheating issues off early?
4) Due to the way the moderators behave I wonder if they use cheats/themselves.
5) I feel the moderators are looking to kill the subject and intimidate users from raising these issues.
6) I am starting to feel like EA is not concerned about cheating.

Hi Tom,
Why are you suppressing cheating issues on the forum? People in many countries are shut up in their house/apartments and probably killing time by playing online games. The increasing levels of cheating are going to increase people stress levels which are probably already high due to the pandemic. People need to be able to air their grievances/issues as an outlet, I think the battlefront-forums is this place.
I get you want to protect the dev's, I work as a design engineer myself and sometimes the criticism I get when I forward a design is harsh and unjustified, but I have to consider the full design requirement and not just a narrow view point. Sometimes it helps when I explain and educate on why I have come to a particular outcome/design. However sometimes I am just plain wrong my I need to rework a design.
I feel some of my post were off. However to close and remove all post about cheating/hacking is just plain wrong and against the values of free speech.
I keep reporting as I have been instructed to do so, but please be aware you have a growing problem.
The game is great! I just hate the cheating.
The only thing we need is a good 3rd party software like punkbuster (I'm a Battlefield Veteran) that gets regular updates and deals immediate punishments, end of story.
Anything else is pointless, especially in a game that has no private servers.
Because you know, videos about cheaters could always possibly be forged or "taken out o context", also the date of incident might be incorrect and the username of the player was changed in the meantime. Or someone could just create an account and fake a target's username with capital I and minor L letter trick and thereby blackmail him while using a cheat.
Videos that players record themselves will never be taken as waterproof evidence for game devs for this reason, so no chance to get a global ban issued this way.
This is only a thing for games like Battlefield where admins of private servers have all rights to say who is allowed to stay on their specific servers or not.
Don't bother, I've been reporting cheaters/hackers en masse since October of last year. Guess what; I STILL SEE THOSE PEOPLE HACKING TO THIS VERY DAY ALMOST EVERY DAY. I even recorded gameplay of one guy aimbotting and one shotting everything for a solid 30 minutes about 3 months ago and I just saw him again 3 days ago and he's STILL HACKING.
