Star Wars Battlefront 2 will not launch on PC

I am trying to start Star Wars Battlefront 2 and it will not launch. Spoke with live chat and tried everything they have asked me to do with no success. When I click play it does the cloud sync to 100% finsihes, then nothing happens at all after that, the play button lights back up, i try again, and again nothing happens... talked to support from 6PM to 3AM with them telling me the same thing over and over until they basically sent me this link and told me there is nothing they can do and to go to the technical team... Have had two live chat members say they are looking for more details then juust transfer me to the next representative... I am very frustrated as I just want to play my favorite game... I do not want to buy the game on another platform and start all over... this is very aggarvating... Please somebody just help me...

I found a solution, tried a few things, not sure which one solved the issue. If anybody needs help with same issue email me or DM me and I will run you through what I did as I am not sure which solved the issue. [edit: email address removed]

Have you searched this forum? Loads of existing posts regarding that issue that may help...
Usually, the fix is turning off another app running in the background. Sometimes it's a rights issue (e.g. need to install as administrator).

I tried everything on the forum, spoke with live chat and they told me to ask here as well... still no fix...

It is ONLY battlefront 2 that wont launch... I tried clean booting, turning off firewall, all background running appluications are off... I have put over 600 hours into this game with no problems and now I can not run it...

Tried clearing cahe, verifying, repairing, uninstalling both origin and the game and reinstalling... I've tried literally everything and the game just wont run

Literally after cloud sync it shows the little blue loading circle next to mouse, then nothing happens at all....

Same problem for me, happend a few weeks or so back after last origin update. It works sometimes but now, today, I can't get it to launch at all.

Help this is happening to me it was just working and now its running then just stops. This is my favorite game by far and no one I know can fix this. What did u do?
