Subject: Request for Refund – STAR WARS™ Battlefront II Not Running
Dear Support Team,
I recently purchased STAR WARS™ Battlefront II, but unfortunately, the game is not launching properly on my system. I am using an HP Omen laptop (Ryzen 7 7840HS with RTX 4060), which meets and exceeds the game’s requirements.
Despite multiple attempts, including reinstalling the game, repairing via the EA App, applying compatibility settings, and following community fixes (DirectX 11 mode, disabling overlays, clearing shader cache, etc.), the game consistently freezes at the welcome screen. The game does not progress beyond that point, and my system occasionally becomes unresponsive.
I am requesting a refund as the game is currently unplayable on my machine.
However, if this issue can be resolved and the game launches properly, I am happy to keep the game and cancel the refund request.
