I guess people are pissed because LS blasters can use all distances to their advantage, while the DS ones fall short.
So darkside always needs to rely on some Vader and Kylo as some semi-optimal counter against them because the DS blasters who're really able to put up a fight against blaster pros are Boba and maybe Iden, but only if these players are like really good.
So as soon as some tryhard stack on LS uses blasters, DS is shrinking to a one-trick pony with only one predictable way to counter them.
