Star Wars battlefront companion (base command) is no longer working...it’s really handy for checking progress towards my last few bits of diorama

@SerGrig221Yeah, it doesn’t work for some people and I haven’t been able to figure out why. We really need EA to fully bring it back because it seemed like a lot of people really liked it. It has amazing ratings on the App Store, and I imagine at the very least keeping the website up wouldn’t require much maintenance. At this point I wouldn’t even mind if they put a banner add up to cover their server fees.

Apple has been warning that the Battlefront Companion app needs to be updated to be compatible with the new system software. Well that day has finally come with the release of iOS 14.5. The app will no longer launch. My hunch is that the actual updating needed is minor, probably to comply with the new operating system's privacy notifications. Can EA let us know whether this minor update will be made, and if so, when? Thanks! I still find the game within the app fun to play.

The android app stopped working MONTHS ago. It will launch, but the graphics formatting doesn't build the page right, so you have a mish-mash of graphics spread all over the place. Every time I drink my morning coffee, I used to play that game.

@EA_Atic For the love of all that is good, can we please get some info on this issue? Any info? Seriously. Months have gone by, and we haven't even gotten an update on the situation, much less an actual fix. What the heck is going on? Please, we need help!

Bump. Crickets from EA so far on this issue. All they need to do is make a simple update to the app...

@tefull I have seen this before over the years that the app has been available and I think it takes someone at EA to review and remediate. I am trying to hit 1 million credits earned playing it and am only about 60k away from that...

I've been having this issue the last 4 days as well. I've also received confirmation from 6 friends that it isn't working for them either. All of us get the following message: "Sorry an error occurred. Please try again later."

I am wondering why the mods are responding to pretty much every other complaint besides this one? Is the site down? Can someone investigate?

I find it curious as well. I've now heard from a dozen different people across a couple of discord servers, all of them encountering the same error message when attempting to login.

@tefull This happened to me at first, so I tried logging in on an iphone and it worked. Then somehow it worked on my android after that.

Same here. Tried uninstall and reinstall as well as attempting on IOS and Android. I feel that someone on the hosting end over at EA needs to reboot an authentication server.

I tried that last week with IPhone, Android Phone, & Android tablet...cleared the cache, uninstalled, & reinstalled on all 3 with no luck. Have tried logging in on both phones each day just to check, and still getting the same error.
