@McDuble33download the latest patch 1.04 and finish that fight arena. once you leave on the Mantis and land at your next planet. turn off the console and reload - BD1 should return

Summarize your bug I Played fine yesterday and when i got to Kashyyyk, I saved and quit, when loaded up today i discovered that my droid has gone, love this game so far but i can't continue without my droid (hes needed for interactions, doors etc). I've Tried verifying cache, to no avail and tried switching planets to force a cutscene and still no luck. Reinstalling didn't work either
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I couldn't tell you, except for starting the missions close to the start which requires you to travel to kashyyyk, saving and then opening it the next day
What happens when the bug occurs? I dont have a droid and i cant interact with things which require BD-1, he is also invisible during cutscenes
What do you expect to see? the droid, being able to scan stuff etc.

@EA_Atic Same for me, switching planets does not help. I am no programming expect, but it kinda feels like BD-1 was not properly re-initialised(perhaps his position was not reset and he got stuck somewhere?) after some specific death circumstances. Since you can still hear him, but cannot directly interact with him.

Yep. Same thing for me. I went to the underground jail after completing the game. One of the bounty hunters got me while roaming around trying to clean up the map. I got there, and the puzzles were still all solved from the first time in the actual story. Went to get bd1 and he is stuck on the workbench in his cell like a prop. Went to do the arena battle. Beat it. Got on my ship, and the planets map is glitched. I enter the travel screen and can’t travel and can’t exit out of the screen. Bd1 still won’t load. Had to quit and restart ps4. Still nothing. My save is broken. I’ll play new game plus eventually, but I really don’t want to have to gather all those collectibles all over again. How can I fix this? Is my save file just done?
Same for me. Bd-1 disappeared just before the arena fight. He never respawned with me. There is no way back to that point after the story. I'm 15+ hours into the game at this point and cannot continue. This is beyond frustrating. It's a game breaking bug.

There is no fix for this that I have found. That playthrough is broken 15 hours in, and its beyond frustrating. We need answers from the developers, @EA_Atic, and a patch asap. BD-1 is vital to the game. He should always respawn with the player.
@EA_Atic @I’m having the same issues that they are having and I am just curious to know if there is a possible fix for this coming or do I need to start a new saved game.
same thing for me but im stuck by the zeffo crash site and I need bd1 to open doors etc. but I cant go back to the mantis so the game is unplayable
