OK, I just installed the game, plugged in the F3D, but I didn't install the Logitech Game Profiler. The joystick works perfectly. All buttons are active. There's no force feedback, though, but I don't think it is that necessary.

@1lifesoliveit When you fire your weapon in flight, does the stick still function properly? I.e. can you turn and fire at the same time?

Yes, it works as it should. So happy to see this 15yr old stick working so well.

WOW! Uninstalling the Profiler software made it work! I'll have to figure out how to map the functions I want through the game now. Oh well, at least it's playable now!

I had the buttons were mapped already. Why don't you just uninstall the F3D from device manager / game controllers, restart the PC, plug in the USB, calibrate it from Windows, and then run the game? It may be a workaround for you.
