I had the same issue, but died and was able to respawn. After trying again, the same thing happens during the QTE, and I'm locked in the room where it takes place. Only option at that point is to jump down the elevator shaft over and over until I die. Plus there's an invisible Darth Vader at the end of the room that parries all attacks. Also just to be sure, I'm on the original 2014 version of the Xbox One.
That's the exact same problem I had. I can now confirm that starting a new game does resolve the issue and that's the only way around it I've found. Sorry but you're gonna have to play through the whole game again if you wanna finish it
Well that's annoying but I guess it's better than the game being broken. Thankfully it's only happened to my ng+ playthrough so I don't need to play it all again right away.
I couldn't believe I encountered this, myself, playing on PC. This was my first playthrough, and after I fell to my death in a blue void, I'm now stuck with an invisible Darth Vader and nothing else happens 🤷♂️
Uninstalled. Disappointed I couldn't finish it because of a bug.
Can confirm as well, starting a new game worked for me, I just finished tonight. Not much after that though, if it makes anyone feel better. Definitely annoying to do the whole thing again though.
