Error: To continue, please ensure that you are signed in to Origin

I'm getting an error saying: "To continue, please ensure that you are signed in to Origin in Online Mode and that Origin In Game is activated". I have Origin In Game activated and I am signed in to ...

    I called the origin tech support today, and they ran me through a bunch of stuff that was previously mentioned, and we also cleared the cache. Nothing worked.

      Any progress on this error yet?

      I have the same problem and none of the fixes worked.

      I tried:

      - portforwarding

      - install on C than on D

      - complete reinstall

      - verify installation

      - checked every button an setting

      - disabled Windows firewal and Avira Vir-Scanner

      - shutdown of every single process and program I was able to

      -  switched from german to us account

        Its rubbish.  Ive also tried everything here and nothing.

        Cheers EA - its not like I just spent £90 on a brken game or anything.
