Game failed to load shader map missing WorldGridMaterial

@EA_Barry Can you help me? I have checked drivers, cleared Origin cache and repair game, but won't launch. I get the splash image before game crashes. (CM: Added error to spoiler tag) [ Spoiler ...

Just to double check, did this always happen when you went to open JFO or is it a recent enough thing/when did this start happening?

@EA_LannaOnly on Jedi Fallen Order since I got it. Sims 4 and sim city work fine.

    Thanks @Hallow_Knights 🙂 That it's only happening with JFO and not other EA games is good to know. Can I ask, was JFO bought directly from the Origin store? If yes, are you happy for me to look into that as much as I can from the forums for you? I'd like to see if I can if there was an issue there causing this error to pop up.

      @EA_Lanna I bought it on steam, but orignal I installed it using steam then I unistalled it and installed by Origin. I then bought the delux upgrade from Origin (today). It is succesfully in my Origin library. @EA_Lanna You can look as much as possible.

      @EA_Lanna I have the same error. I installed the game from Origin as soon as I bought it. And ran into this problem. Tried to reinstall, reinstall, cleaned Origin cache, does not help.

      I think you need to send an answer to the developers of the game. They need to understand what the problem is. I already tried everything that is possible, nothing helps me. I can even send you error report files with accurate data so that you can pass this on to the game developers to analyze this problem.

        @Alekxandr789 I reckon that they didn't compile the shaders once they made an update and published it. When I was making my own game I forgot to compile it and got a message saying the game wasn't cooked.
