Hi, tried the clean boot but that had no effect. Same issue. I also realized that the game isn't accepting input from either the XBox controller or the Keyboard in VR Mode until I left click with the mouse (on anything), then it starts accepting keyboard input (random since I can't see with the VR headset on) then I can move the controller for it to switch to the controller input.
Hmm, that's really strange.
Can you try something else for me when you have a chance? Open up your controller settings in Steam and go to General Controller Settings. If there is an active configuration there for Xbox controllers can you try unchecking it to see if that makes a difference?
Let me know how it goes when you have the chance to give it a shot. Thanks!

Thank you! That sort of worked. I now have control of both kb & xbox controller immediately on game startup and I'm able to select options from the menu. However there's no game audio in the VR headset at first - I still have to left click with the mouse to get the audio output to the headset. That may have always been the case and I just didn't notice as I was more focused on trying to get the controller to work. It's as if I have to select the game by clicking with the mouse to let it know to output sound to the VR headset. It's an improvement though. Also, minor issue is controller bindings are not ideal with the config unchecked.

Hmm, that sounds like something might be taking focus away from the game until you click on it to give it focus in Windows. Which VR headset are you using?

I'm using the Valve Index - video output to the headset seems ok, I can see the game startup splash-screens and clips and the game menus come up in the headset, just the audio isn't there until I left click with the mouse.
