No Third Person Perspective?

I read that this game will be played entirely from cockpit view. Is this true? I get motion sickness in first-person games and can't play them, and so does everyone else in my family. I was really lo...

I think the proportion of people playing in VR will be surprisingly higher than expected. 3rd person is a large advantage over cockpit and VR 3rd person makes absolutely no sense. No 3rd person was a good choice.

As stated by @HCarbonic - I can confirm STAR WARS™: Squadrons is exclusively played in first-person.

    Hopefully with Head Tracking (VR or TrackIR / FreeTrack / OpenTack), in which case there will be no problem looking up/over/around your cockpit 😃
