Game: Star Wars Battlefront (2015)

Issue: Cannot connect to EA servers – error code 721
Date/Time observed: every attempt
Frequency: 100% – every attempt to connect
Other EA titles tested: Battlefront II (2017) connects with no issues on same console/network
NAT type: [Open– from Xbox network test]
Connection type: Wired Ethernet
Troubleshooting tried:
- Restart console and router
- UPnP enabled on router
- DNS set to Google (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4)
- Re-linked EA account
- Cleared reserved space / cache
- Still receiving error 721
Summary:
Battlefront (2015) is failing to connect to EA servers with error code 721 in the UK region. Other EA games (including Battlefront II) connect normally, which suggests this is a server-side issue specific to Battlefront (2015) on Xbox. Please confirm server status and advise on resolution.
EA_Kent: this is happening again as of about three weeks ago. Some of us cannot connect and there are several new threads complaining of the same issue.
Personally, on XBox Series X, have not been able to connect to EA servers for about three weeks. Tried on XBox One a couple of times and was able to connect once. Went back to Series X hoping the issue was fixed, but back to XBox One and the issue persists.
Few days later, tried again and was able to connect on XBox One and played all day without issue this past Saturday, I believe). I notice my NAT type was set to "Strict" that day. Just saying.
I have not been able to connect since.
Please fix this I'm done with Destiny 2.
