I have 3 PS4 in my house (one wireless and two wired). Bought Star Wars Squadrons to play multiplayer with my sons. One of us can log in fine but the other two get 721 error messages. No problems with internet (works fine for COD Warzone, Fortnite, etc.. ). Any idea how to solve?

Make sure you have the relevant ports open:

...and the Squadrons specific one: UDP 3659
For this 721 error, you may have to do some additional, manual configuration of your router, specifically - port triggering of the above port numbers.

I have tried port forwarding and port triggering multiple times without success. Very disappointed that it is so hard to play this game when so many other multiplayer games I can play with my sons without any problems. Any other potential solutions that don’t require me to get an IT degree in routers?

Thanks! This kinda fixed it, kinda not. I did the port forwarding and I was able to play matches with my friends for like, 2 matches in a row, and then I encounter issues again. I don't ever have this problem queing up solo. If I'm in a squad with friends, then I encounter this issue a lot. My internet is fine, I've forwarded the port, but somehow "loose connection to the server" while the rest of my group gets into the game. Really odd and frustrating, I love the gameplay its super fun, just wanna play with my friends.

Yep. Getting the same. Only started after the update for me though.

I almost think it is intentional to keep people from doing xbox game share feature. The issue is that even if both people buy the game it still gives the same issue. So it is pretty messed up. And they don't seem to care to fix it at all.
- @parkeradams1991 It’s not specifically to discourage gamesharing because I can still easily gameshare if I share with someone whos Xbox account is NOT and has never been linked to MY EA account. Have tested all kindsa stuff. EA needs to show us or help us permanently UNLINK Xbox accounts from EA accounts.
COME ON EA, YOU KNOW I’M RIGHT. THE PROBLEM IS HOW SQUADRONS USES THE EA ACCOUNT. BF 5 and TF 2 do not have this issue.

- @EA_Barry Ok, after the error 918 issue was rectified I've been playing without issue, until tonight. Dumped mid game and disconnected and on trying to reconnect got 721.
How does that just randomly occur? No change to my network, no change to my config, just dumped mid game after many hours of play.
Just for shiz'n giggles I've opened and port forwarded all the suggested UDP and TCP ports, have restarted my router, checked DNS and turned everything off, and on again, several times. Still no connection. WHY!@R01Jalb_kThis happened to me too. Last week zero issues. Now, for no reason, error 721. Ea can’t fix. My internet service provider tried everything, and my computer engineer friend can’t figure it out. PS4. I HATE EA NOW! I will plaster anywhere I can to never buy their games EVER. They don’t seem to care. How can they not figure it out? So stupid. I’ve contacted EA 5 times and spent an hour on the phone with them. How do they not know their own products and servers? Love the game, hate the lack of support.
I'm having the same issue. PS4. Never done game-sharing, no changes to network. It just stopped connecting and gave the 721 code. I've reset everything and nothing. It's pretty disappointing.

I have called EA about error 721 (and 4975). They explained its because we have 2 xbox accounts linked to 1 EA account (no idea how or why). I asked if they could unlink one of the accounts becaues I have set up another Ea account for it, they said that is more or less impossible to unlink it.
The support person advised me to CREATE ANOTHER XBOX ACCOUNT! THIS SOLUTION IS RIDICULOUS!
We have purchases, years of progression etc, etc, tied to our accounts. We can play Battlefield 5, TitanFall 2, and other EA games with no problem. It is definitely a problem with how Squadrons (and possibly other EA games) use the EA account.
It is a Star Wars Squadrons issue, so EA SHOULD FIX IT OR HELP US LINK OUR ACCOUNTS.
Please give us feedback and let us know how you intend to resolve this issue responsibly EA.

RegardsThis is a joke. Even if both people buy the game, they still can't play at the same time. It is insane. Somehow my EA account was linked with a family member and now we are just stuck? Like there really isn't a way to change the account on file? That seems pretty unlikely for a tech company. Sounds like they just don't want to allow you to change your account. Which makes no sense. This is such a bad look. I wish it were getting more visibility.

I would hope that everyone that has this problem, or other EA-account problems, brings it to the attention of EA-phonesupport, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
It’s the only influence we can exert other than not buying the games.

I also can't use ea chat anymore which is super frustratingError 721 yesterday and today. It's frustrating to lose ranks because of this... PC via steam, and no I'm not sharing my account.
Crickets. Still no solution for this issue. Like @Puddle_Nails78 and @windch3ater and what appears to be a growing number of players, I haven't been able to play online in about two weeks. I've never game-shared or signed on with a different account or any of the the canned responses I've received from tech support. I've gone through every troubleshooting recommendation, I've spoken to my ISP, I've spoken to EA on the phone. All to no avail. I have a regular squad of four players (mix of PC and PS) all experiencing the same problem. Error 721. I literally bought a console so that I could play this one game. Had a good two month run, I guess. What a disappointment.
