Star Wars Battlefront Beta [problem] black screen on launch
when I launch the game all it gives me is a black screen?
reinstalling origin fixed it for me -> AMD R9 380 @ 15.9.1.

Your commands didn't help, reinstalling origin (on top of the existing) did. Maybe it was a combination of both afterall since I still have those commands in place. Thanks for sharing!
Reinstalling origin also fixed it for me

Origin reinstalling with or without commands didnt fix it for me :/
Edit: also tried newest drivers now on beta drivers , repearing the game nothing works....

The commands worked for me! Once I got it working with those commands, I removed them, and it still worked. 🙂
WOOOPP! Its solves also my issue! i have and HD5700 with 4gb but everytime it has said nope not enough gb ^^ so and now im playing on ultra without any issues xD
Intriguing on how it worked for some people but didn't work for another bunch. So I tried to google the various troubleshooting we can do to solve the black-screen on launch on the beta of this game. I tried by
Updating the graphics card driver GTX 750 ti OC Strix
Update Windows 7
Update Intel drivers
Check motherboard drivers
I hope the developers could find a solution to this as it may turn off the mood of potential customers. I'm a fan of Star Wars, if they solve this I believe they still have a chance to recover the initial market potential they were aiming towards by the end of Q4.
Please do reply to my post for anymore suggestion on how to fix it on our own although its not our job as clients to do so..... as the beta is not open anymore, I hope this game is fixed by launch.. just like buying a car without throttle issue, good controls and functioning safety system, that's why you pay for it....
