Star Wars Battlefront Beta [problem] black screen on launch
when I launch the game all it gives me is a black screen?
reinstalling origin fixed it for me -> AMD R9 380 @ 15.9.1.

Origin reinstalling with or without commands didnt fix it for me :/
Edit: also tried newest drivers now on beta drivers , repearing the game nothing works....

I also got black screen.
- I reinstalled Origin.
- I changed the game start up value with "-novid -noborder -windowed"
- I repaired the game
and....
Its still not working.
Same problem... Black screen, Game crashes with the message APPCRASH
I did as Seeknkill and got the same bad result ☹️
I have same problem i hit play button in origin game start black screen and nothing only shows in right corner Origin press Shift+F1 to see thropies.. tried every option and dont work called to the EA studio they know the problem and helping me fixing.

Which Windows version do you have? And whiich DirectX version?
I have WIN7 and DirectX11
Maybe there is the problem.
I had this problem on a brand new ASUS laptop (w/ Nvidia GTX 960m).
I had my desktop resolution at 4K. Once I switched it down to 1080p, Battlefront loaded without a problem and I was able to play.

Changing the audio settings in Windows to 16-bit 96000 Hz (Studio Quality) finally got me past the Black Screen but it crashed again as soon as I tried to join a multiplayer game.

that's the error i was getting .. nothing solved it
game works perfect now !
So along with the sound trick and the "-novid -noborder -windowed" and Diable Origin in game trick I was able to get the game to run on my ancient computer. Just played for 30 minutes on my Q6600 with 4GB of DDR2 RAM and a 1GB Radeon HD 6850 on the lowest settings. Good luck everyone!
- Fixed it for me!! This is just crazy, but works. Super easy, it's a shame, dice/EA were not helpfull...

- Unfortunately, NONE, of the options (even the sound fix) does not work for me, still getting black screen with crashing...
