Yes, as mentioned by @Gargamel314, you need to have some story progression before you will be able to use all of them.

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing that. Would it perhaps be possible to capture a short video on the stuttering and freezing for us? It will help us investigate.

Thanks for uploading the video. But jeez, that's some really bad stuttering you have there. I'm sorry to see that, and I understand it's not fun playing the game like that.
Since you experienced similar stuttering in another title (Steep), I do have a suspicion it might be caused by something on your system. Definitely not by the specs, but I'm thinking more about settings, such as:
I already read in the other thread that you're on an SSD. So that can't be it either. Still, could you upload a dxdiag so I have some additional info about your system?

So, after going back to an old NVIDIA driver and seeing my major slow down still happening, I realized that it was not only slowing down...but I kept moving in a specific direction, even though I wasn't pressing anything. This lead me to believe it was something with the source of that signal--my wireless XBox controller. So, I changed the batteries in the controller....and so far, it's not happening. My own dumb fault for not thinking of that first.
I will see if this keeps happening but I think that was the issue.

Thanks again for giving me a chance to show you what is going with the game. I can basically reproduce this bug whenever you want, it happens basically as soon as I start playing the game. Note: as I uploaded the file, I booted "Steep" through the Epic Games launcher, and it also stuttering problems, so I force quit and then booted "Control" -- and it worked just fine, same with "Witcher 3" So I wonder if it might be an Unreal Engine thing? Or an Epic Games thing?
Still, to be clear: The Star Wars slow down also happened when I booted directly from the Origin launcher as well. So, my system is running fine, it's definitely all happening when I play the game.
I am happy to work with you and anyone at EA to diagnose the problem; as I say, I can reproduce it at will now.
