Star Wars squadrons inviting friends not working

Im having problems to invite my friend into Star Wars Squadrons as I always get the Error Code 4270 which doesnt make any sense because we both have the same settings for crossplay somoene pls help ...

I can't find any announcements by the devs on this, despite it being a persistent error. i can't play with my friend. this might be a buyer beware issue.
