Star wars: survivor throws me back to main screen after intro movie.

I've just purchased Star was: Survivor(through Steam) and each time I select to start a new journey it will play the intro movie all fine but when completed or skipped, I get thrown back to main screen of the game. I've been really looking forward to playing this game and I'm really bummed our rn. Graphics drivers updated last week, all windows, steam and EA updates are completed.
