Hi bezdaniel,
I agree, we are on our own with this, EA don't seem bothered to even respond. I figured out a solution, see full description below but basically you need to uninstall all EA games and then uninstall the Origin app, do a reboot and the reinstall Origin and Star Wars. It worked for me and think it will probably do the same for you. Just make sure you do a proper uninstall, right mouse click on the Origin app etc. and then Control Panel to uninstall the Origin app. Good luck buddy.
Hi RebelDC,
Glad you got yours to work properly!
I will try this as soon as possible and notify you about the progress. Thanks for your help! 🙂

Try to uninstall Origin only. Restart pc, download and reinstall Origin again.

I've been having the same issue for months. Icons not showing up so you get lost easily and can't play the objective very well. Been reduced to Blast only matches, and even then you're at a disadvantage and can't use the map as nothing shows up on it, except to tell you where the map boundaries are.
I've tried all suggested possibly solutions, including Origin only uninstall, and complete game and Origin uninstall, taken hours to download it all again only to find the problem is exactly the same.
Please fix this, as season pass paid, DLC continues to roll out, a sequel has been announced, and I can't play the game properly as it is not working properly. Issue feels like it's been pushed aside and forgotten about.

@Kj-ZoSo I've seen some edge cases where wiping the local settings file helped. This was for a different game, but a similar issue (reinstalling origin usually did the trick there too)
If you go to My Documents\STAR WARS Battlefront\settings, make a backup then delete the files there, does that have any effect?
