I'd recommend just restarting the game, they clearly aren't doing anything, to not even acknowledge the problem by now isn't a good sign for a solution to be presented, not very good customer service really, a shame considering the people who've had this problem will have had played 4-6 hours of the game.

I am definitely not starting the game over, I’m going to be requesting a refund from Sony later today. I don’t expect to get one, but I at least need to put it on the record with Sony that am I dissatisfied enough with the quality of the game that I want my money back.
in any event, I am definitely never paying full price for another EA game again — I’ll wait until the game is on sale for $20 and it’s actually finished.
