Jedi Survivor(Steam) EA launcher fails

I have talked to many online agents, ive been shuffled to higher ups on multiple levels. I have been troubleshoooting this error for over 6 days now, 3 days with the help of EA online chat. and we cannot find a solution to this game. I have played on this PC over 100 hours in the game. New game plus'd the game and now i cannot launch it. I have tried many different suggestions from the EA team to troubleshoot. Nothing worked. i was told at first it was a license refresh that was needed and to wait for a unspecified time. i waited 3 days, every day i would go through the trouble shooting methods until the third day, which is today where i said this became unacceptable. Ive done IPconfig resets. that worked kind of. It launched the game, and it went through the Main credit logos. Respawn Electronic Arts Lucus Films and the It says the TItle "Jedi Survivor". The game proceeds to go dark and then go into an infinite loading loop on screen. i waited 15 minutes. no idications for shadows or any other graphical adjustment. just spinning lines drawing over and over. i finally checked task manager and the app said it wasnt responding. so i closed the task. I then launched the game again and waited for the game to launch and load. i had task managewr open. and when it hit that same laoding screen. task manager said the app wasnt responding. i ended the task again. I then verified the files on steam (Probably the 5th time i did that in 6 days redownloaded the game 3 times ): ) When i tried to open the game again. it didn't launch. i got the same error message that i got 6 days ago. I am lost. The EA online helper guy told me to fill this out. I'd like to play my game :(

I keep getting the same thing, it closes EA then reopens it with in 10-20seconds

  • I have this issue too. I have tried:

    1. 1. repairing the game files through the EA app
    2. 2. repairing the EA app through the help menu
    3. 3. repairing the EA app through the tool in the files for the app
    4. 4. reinstalling Jedi Survivor
    5. 5. fully uninstalling the EA app and all leftover files and reinstalling it
    6. 6. restarting my PC
    7. 7. factory resetting my AMD Radeon drivers
    8. 8. disabling all AMD enhancements and optimizations
    9. 9. disabling In-Game Overlay in the EA app settings
    10. 10. relocating my save files to try and launch the game in a new state
    11. 11. enabling "run as administrator" for the EABackgroundService.exe
    12. 12. enabling "run as administrator" for EADesktop.exe
    13. 13. allowing all EA services through my firewall on both public and private networks
    14. 14. I removed all instances of saved mod files from my Saved Games > Respawn > Jedi Survivor folder and since the game is freshly installed there should be no other instances of modded files

Nothing worked. I have more than 160 hours in this game and now for some reason I just can't play my game. It's extremely frustrating because I paid $70 for this just for it to stop working with no way to fix it.

When I click play on the game, it loads into the intro cinematic and plays that until the "Star Wars: Jedi Survivor" screen and then freezes for a few seconds, then crashes and my EA app reopens with this error screen.
