Just purchased the game and cannot get through the opening cinematic to actually play it.

error as everyone else. Wish I'd known the game was in this bad of shape before I paid for it. Don't I feel like a sucker.

Fixed by updating latest driver(531.79) from NVIDIA site and optimization game via Geforce Experience. Automatic updates doesn't work, only manual. (I9 13900K; RTX 4090)

I was stuck since last patch on the fight against Dagan (i7 9700k + 4090).
Guess I went too fast...
Now it's crashing when trying to go to the planet after Dagan (no spoil)!
It's not the same error though:
