LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 686] hr failed at D:/depot/r8branches/r8release/Engine/Source/Runtime/D3D12RHI/Private/D3D12Resources.cpp:507 with error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED with Reason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
How often does the bug occur? Every time (within 30 minutes of play)
How can we find the bug ourselves?
I don't know.
What happens when the bug occurs?
1. My game shutdowns immediatly and pop ups the error.
2. It does not go to the desktop, but the error screen remains as it is.
What do you expect to see?
I want to play the game without these "bugs/errors".
My PC specs:
AMD Ryzen 5600x
32GB RAM
NVIDIA Geforce RTX4080
asus tuf gaming b550-plus wifi ii
The same symptoms occur even when Windows is reinstalled, graphic driver reinstalled, or in a clean state without overclocking.
Hi,
I had the same error D3D12RHI Private.h1253 with error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED with Reason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG in Jedah only : impossible to play in Jedha more than 15 minutes !
And I found the solution : switching off the Ray Tracing solved my problem.
Ray tracing works fine from anywhere except from Jedha.
So just switch off Ray Tracing we you play in Jedha.
My config :
Motherboard ASUS Prime X-570P
Windows 11 - Game ready GeForce drivers version 531.79
Ryzen 9 3900X
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 - 12 GB
32 GB RAM
This kind of errors are often due to some graphics parameters that are badly supported by your configuration with this game : just change them switching off some features and retry.
In my case, Ray Tracing was causing this issue and I have the confirmation that other players had the same problem with Ray Tracing in Jedha.
