I have a similar problem, BD1 won’t scan. I’m on Summit Ridge, and BD1 wants to scan one of the floating grapple points, which will clearly give me the ability to grapple to them, but the scan prompt is missing. I have fast travelled away and back, restarted both the game and my console several times and tried another controller, nothing works. This has happened once before, but as it was just an ordinary object, I just moved on. If I can’t make this scan, large areas of the map, will be inaccessible to me.Please fix it.
Hey, I had seen your post before and was worried when I got to Shattered Moon because you clearly need that ability. In progressing through the level, there was a point when the ability was activated. I think this takes into account the possibility that you may not have been to Summit Ridge yet if mostly just pursuing the main game quest. I'm on a PC, which seems to be where most issues occur. Maybe try heading to the Shattered Moon and see if it activates for you there.
